« on: 17 May 2010, 10:59:51 »

Reseach was carried for 10 years in 13 countries.. :-?

Blimey!!!

I used to install the communication towers back in the early days of cellular radio, and climbed the towers to align the transmitter/reciever dishes on numerous occations.....

I'm buggered then!!

Rather like over indulgence in many areas, technology of this kind, for all its benefit, may eventually conspire to bite us in the arse.

as usual with this sort of thing, the surprise isn't that it could cause you some damage, just that people don't expect it to cause damage.

you're holding a radio transmitter to your brain, can you really expect that to be risk-free ?

life isn't risk-free, we should not expect it to be so.

Honestly, I was expecting something like that..

its the reason why phone companies spend money trying to reduce the sar values.. :-/

I have a problem with my right ear for some years..

whenever I'm highly stressed this ear start to give me real pain..the doctors said I need surgery.. but I've been delaying for more than 10 years.. ;D

now, if I talk with the mobile during this pain,

I feel something is tearing my head :(

anyway its a small microwave.. :-/

everything gives u more risk of cancer these days... even bacon, eggs and yes baked beans  :-X :-? :-/ i think its all jus scare tactics.... how many people since being told they need to eat healthy actually have? (more than you think) so many people are so foolish to believe everything that our government or "top" scientists say... next you will see them develop a new mobile phone that is completely harmless.... $$$$$$$  :-X :-X :-/ :-/

Ok so maybe the mobile phones one is true, but still... so what?

If it hasn't been modified in any way (eg, hi-gain antenna) then very safe indeed thanks to the small Tx power allowed in law. Even if you did use a hi-gain antenna, it still wouldn't present a danger as you would not ordinarilly hold a wifi router to your head.
