To be perfectly honest I DON'T WANT THIS TOPIC BINNED!!

I just wanted to make a point that maybe, just maybe the whole thing was getting way out of hand & wanted to see what reaction i would get!! 

I've been waiting for Lizzie (who after all started this topic) to post her comments & i'm the first to say ''u havn't offended me with what u've written in the slightest'' 

Freedom of speech is exactly that but it seemed to me that from certain quarters is was becoming more like 'propaganda!!'

Lizzie  i've thoroughly enjoyed threads posted by yourself on different topics in my very short time on this forum & hold you in very high esteem!! 

All i will say is sometimes your views arn't shared by all & some of the posts on THIS topic have been rather one sided! (my opinion  - IMHO)

What made me post my reply 'originally' was -

What is the difference between making a 'joke' which was construded by 1 or 2 people as being racist & binned
and
Anti-Israel/Pro-Palestinian jibes that could easily upset Jewish people - provocation!  :-?

I THEREFORE 'RETRACT' MY REQUEST FROM HAVING THIS TOPIC BINNED

Thanks for that Eliteomegaman and I accept your very fair comments completely    With the private discussions we have had I rather thought you would not accuse me of being anti-semitic.

However I understand not everyone will agree with my comments and beliefs, as no one ever agrees with everyone all the time.  That should never be a problem as long as everyone stays polite and handles it all in an adult manner.  I sincerely hope that I can do on here the same as what I do in family or university debates; argue like heck, advancing usually educated, informed, and polite views, then retire afterwards to the wine and be friends, by then not adversaries, with all

I may argue and make strong points when debating with another strong minded and detirmined person on here, Nickbat, but at the same time I respect his right to express his views which often either come close or even agree with mine. 8-) 8-)   

One things for sure we can never agree on all things together, but hopefully we can continue to have many more debates, which I for one will try and keep pleasant
