I sometimes read some of posts of a holier than thou caravan forum (I can't post anymore cos I told them what I thought of them  ) and one forum member bought himself a 'fullsize' spare that he carried in his rear footwell because an Omega only has a 'space saver'  :-?  :-?  :-?  :-?

I could if I was prepared to fork out to gas my car, but with the milage I do in it (5000 miles last year) I don't think it'd be worth the expence

Must admit boot is an issue, taking cat section to be welded by the master, i thought right, i'll take this, pop the rear seat down...... ah....... bugger!

Would a spare saver fit in the front storage on Van with other spare and gas bottle ect?

Not all caravaners are 'silly' i do have a little modicum od CDF (ex matelots will understand  )

You've not seen waht we keep in the 'van  and as said, I don't do the milage to warrent the outlay of gas conversion

I have failed to fill the tank at Asda in the past due to a (then) £85 limit (its a purely pay-at-pump station at MK). Price has eased now, and is 113,9p, though the pay-at-pump limit has been raised to £99

Fart gas is working well for me - yes I do miss the boot, but in fairness only really needed it 2 or 3 times a year.  I bought a gay roofbox for these occassions.
