I always liked the Royale/Monza 8-) 8-) but I would have given the velour a miss in favour of leather. :y

Leather can be quite 'sticky' in this weather. After a longish journey I usually end up with a soaking wet back and bum.

So for people like me that dont know alot about past Vauxhalls, what is the difference between the Royale Coupe and a Monza.......?

Both beautiful cars.......

got me thinkin this one so had a quick google.

"Built on the same production line as the Opel Monza
but badged Vauxhall Royale Coupe,
just to add a bit of confusion the saloon model
was also called Royale. "

well nearly, but the vast majority of royales were a 2.8 with a 4 barrel carb (solex i think), whereas the monza was a 3 litre with injection, i did see a 3.0 royale but never found out if it was injected or stayed with that troublesome carb, apparently a rare beast.
