Brave bloke, bust his shin and he's back already. I don't think Stoner would of got past if the goat was fully fit ;)

You're not wrong there. There were a couple of corners where he would normally stuff it up the inside and force his way through. Steve Parrish mentioned the bending of pins if he came off again so I'm not surprised he took it 'easy'  ;)

There was some discussion about that in one of the commentaries re the old timers. Verdict was, no they would not. But Rossi would not win so many......apparently.
