A fond farewell
« on: 24 July 2010, 10:46:07 »

It has been some time since I last posted on the forum and this will sadly ( for me anyway ) be the last time. After being made redundant 3 times since Sep 2008 I have gone back into taxi driving, one has to make a living somehow. The age/emissions restrictions of the licencing authority mean that an Omega is not an option as a taxi, even on LPG, the car must be registered on or after 01/05 to be acceptable. Time/space and ultimately money also rule out having one as a weekend car.
So many thanks to all members who gave excellent technical advice and I hope I may have helped others.
It's goodnight from him.

I won't have an Omega soon, but will still use the forum.
Great forum and have learned loads, not just about Omega's but anything.
I even found out which toilet cistern syphon to fit on here, just ask and someone will know :y

Anyway good luck with the new (old) job :y

As has been said you dont have to drive a mig to be a member on here you can ask advice on anything from changing a tap washer to building your own neutron bomb so good luck in whatever you do and remember don't be a stranger :y
