Time for a change.....
« on: 29 July 2010, 19:12:11 »

Of TV........

What do peeps think of this one? (I know what TB will say  ;D )

http://www.sony.co.uk/product/t32-ex-series/kdl-37ex403#pageType=TechnicalSpecs

But not at that price......ive seen it advertised for £489 with a 5yr warranty.

I think a 37" would do just fine....would like slightly bigger than my current 32" CRT....but dont want to go overboard.

Dont really want to spend any more.....or should i wait for the price of LED TV's to come down?

Or is there cheaper different make alternatives? (I know buying Sony, you usually pay a premium)

Cheers....

I was also looking for them..

there are 50,100 and 200 hz models

and price change accordingly.. 100 hz is ok imo..

but 200 hz expensive..

I was in Costco yesterday, not been for a couple of months, I was surprised how non LED, non 3D had come down.

I think £400-£500 should buy you the traditional LCD 37" you want with 5yr warranty.

When deciding, don't go too much on its digital enhancement technologies, as invariably, you switch them off (as they are all shite)

Thanks for the advice peeps  :y

I think TB must approve, as its a Sony not his personal choice of make and he didn't swear at all in his post (well he nearly didnt.....but it wasnt aimed at the make, i think) ;D

It swings it for me at the moment, one reason being the HD builtin freeview tuner (i now theres only about 4 channels on freeview atm that are HD)

Plus ive just found it online for £470 with a 5yr warranty  :y
