Bug Zapperzzz zzzzz
« on: 08 August 2010, 00:15:15 »

Have allready had 2 of the lantern style zappers and burnt the elements out.

So I bought a twin element shop size unit, nearly pooped myself when it had it's 1st kill, but that fly that has peed me off all afternoon is now smouldering.... ::)

Score now   11 - 0  8-)

Might have to invest in a more powerful one when the bu66ers start getting cold and invade the study in my loft.

Where did you get it?

Yes, I've got one of those. Works OK but only a very weedy voltage doubler so 500 volts DC from a very high impedance source. tends to paralyse them until they die of boredom, I think. ;D

Also, once one is stuck to the wires and sucking current, the rest are laughing.

Looks more like it. :y

Then again, I might try modding the one I have for a laugh. ;D
