Last Thursday, popped down to the Coast with the Missus.  Beautiful B&B by the way SixString 

420 odd miles covered, mainly B Roads, but taking it steady as 'er indoors doesn't appreciate smoking back tyres.

30.9mpg (3.0 Elite Saloon).

It's the first time she has been out in this Omega (for more than a trip to the shops) and commented on how roomy, comfortable and exceptionally quiet it was (even with the Exhaust Manifold Gasket blowing its arse off).

i like my 3.0. around town 20.9 motorway cruise on 38.

m6 toll last week end and town the rest, computer didnt so no, it said 29mpg today.

I recently had cause to travel to Seaham, Co. Durham from the south coast, around 350-360 miles.

I was fully expecting to have to get fuel on the way, but, to my pleasant surprise, we arrived with a quarter of a tank still to go! Not sure how that works out in mpg.
