Vacuum too high when spring cleaning
« on: 15 August 2010, 19:15:08 »

Well thought I'd vacuum the car today, found that it wasn't clean as good as it could be, so wacked up the setting to high, think may have gone too far as sucked up the dirt on the seats, and the seats with it !!!!!!!!!   ;D  ;D  ;D

Got my cloth Mv6 seats in there now, much better than the leather ones, and I'm not sliding all over the place when I go around the corners !.

Doors cards are next for my custom treatment, though take a while before photos of them, be interesting to see what people say once there done   ::)

You got rid of leather!  :o

All my cars and chairs in the house are leather, if they were cloth they would be replaced.

You're the type who buys and Elite and asks for cloth and then annoys 2nd hand buyers who love your car but want leather.

No.............!

I prefer leather.  I would swap my cloth for leather if I could. Especially MV6 Recaro seats.

Only time I've not appreciated leather was the back seat of a 96 Discovery ES I owned.  It was a bench seat and it was very difficult to stay put if you were the only rear occupant on bends.  The fact that the  body rolled like it was mounted on jelly helped not at all!

Just some quick facts:
My car is a CD model which had cloth in it originally when I bought it, I bought the leather set as I liked the idea of leather, and thought I'd like it.  But didn't, so managed to get hold of Mv6 cloth which are the same style as the leather, and I personally prefer these better.

As for you rubbing me the wrong way about being the type of person who buy's an Elite, then gets rid of the leather, spoiling it for others..... >:( .

It's my car, so while it's in my hands I'll do what I want, and come selling time, if someone doesn't like the fact that it hasn't got leather, or what ever..... well there's two choices, they either buy leather to replace it themselves, or move on and look for another Omega with exactly how they want it ?.

I'll not be forcing anyone to buy it at the end of the day  :D  ::).

I may not like what you've done to your Omega, or how you've done things, but I respect that that's how you like yours to look ?, and I go with that  :y
