Another EPIC FAIL
« on: 15 August 2010, 23:38:28 »

Washing machine just gone bang.... :'(
Not unexpected, drum bearing has been on it's way out for months.. ::) Spoke to the repairman last week but going to cost around £150 so felt better to get a new one, it does get hammered..... So looks like we will be going shopping tomorrow.... :(

In the old days I would have fixed it myself, but sadly those days are gone, for a number of reasons..

Mike, have a google for Comet Auctions ;) We got a nearly £600 washing machine delivered with 12 months warranty for just over £250 just because it had a small dent, bottom right corner. :y

Went to a 'Graded' retail warehouse this morning, bought a new Bosch, was delivered and installed by 2.00pm and old one taken away...... :y :y :y
Cant find any damage to it, but you can only see the front anyway...... :y
