super glue on bulb ?
« on: 18 August 2010, 13:07:32 »

can I super glue onto the side of the bulb of the driver door ??

for some reason I doesnt stay where it's supposed to  :-/

every time I close the door ( since they are soo hard ) it pops out !

oh and I broke the cover for the door light, so once the bulb sits in place, I'll put super glue to that too
lol

but what I'm asking is that would the bulb still work ?

The whole unit!

Super glue will not conduct so it will stop the bulb working. Have you tried bending the contacts to make the bulb fit tighter?

Tape will just block the light. Do you want me to post one to you?

First lets be sure we are on about the same thing! Is this the clear/white light on the inside of the door, near the bottom?

how will I fit it ??

2 small spring clips built in to the light and an electrical plug.

And how will I pay you ??

Small packet postage to Bahrain is less than £2 so I'm not really bothered about payment.

Yes, I'll send you a whole unit (with a bulb that fits ;D ) over. Can you PM me a name and address and I'll get it off to you :y
