On the way to work today, passed a LDV van with the legend painted nicely on it:

ACE ERECTIONS Ltd. (House builders, NHBC registered)

"Erections from small to large, free estimates, tel 01425-67****"

Had to change lanes, laughing too much. Is this for real? Wouldn't somebody in the tax/companies house/etc have stopped him calling his company that name?

Proper job, nice van, well signwritten.

A mate of mine used to work in the Tax office and told me of a woman he once interviewed.

She was bulginging out over the top of a very exspensive mini skirt 3 piece suit thing complete with pinstripe waste coat and her accountant sat next to her.

Her company was called "Erection and Demolision services" and blatently obvious what she was running, but she also bought run down terraced houses as a cover up.

No matter what question they threw at her she had a reply for them, in the end they had to admit that she had conformed in accordance to all the rules..... ::)
