A very proud dad!
« on: 31 August 2010, 11:45:28 »

My youngest son Tim has just been accepted in the RAF after 6 months of interviews, medicals and physical tests He had his final 4 day assessment at RAF Bramham (nr Honnington) last week. Out of the 40 applicants atttending including several ex-army lads, only 18 were finally selected and Tim was one of them. :y :y :y He goes to RAF Honnington for 30 weeks of basic training in either November or the new year, following that he'll be flown out to wherever he's needed. His mum and I are 2 exceptionally proud parents. :)

Goodluck to Tim, I had 22 years in the Royal Navy sun sea and seasickness and loved it. Hope he has a good life in the RAF :y

I'll do my best Richie but I can always PM you Tim's e-mail address (I'll check with him first) so your son can ask him about aspects of joining etc. ;)
