one to make DLK jealous

so there i am working away at the weekend in hull and i get back to my hotel about 12.30 and im stood at the bar,a group of peeps are singing in the corner...next thing im shaking mike reids hand and chatting away about how hes up there doing an 80,s party jolly nice guy.so i go out for a fag and on my way back in theres to guys and two lasses so ive had a few drinks anyway and go up to them and say are we in for a sing song then,heres the funny part...i look at one of the women and say i recognise you and then look at the other and say bloody ell its bananarama and it came straight out(you two ladies dont know how many times ive had you when i was younger,its a shame you werent there )thank god they laughedso a little chat and the next thing i find out martin fry is inside so i only went in and sang to him,he was a nice guy in fact they were all great and next thing its 2.30 in the morn..what a top night 8-) :y

the wrong one,mike reid the dj and he was there with his jacket sleeves rolled up,trousers and white shoes ;D

Its absolutely true. Used to see him every friday when I worked in Wood lane in London (the BBC studios are in wood lane) he will talk to anybody and has no edge to him. Lovely bloke, and indeed seems to know EVERYTHING about music.

Incidentally, do you know he drives a Senny 24v???
