Test drove an a4, made me feel sick.

Fairly uninspiring and over priced, rather have a golf or passat. If at all...

Strangely though, don't mind the gay lights  :-*

All Omega's were made in Russelsheim, Germany. I believe the V6 engines were made is Ellesmere Port though, unsure if the 4 cylinder engine were also made there. Anyone know?

I worked for a company (Andrews Heat for Hire) that had a general policy, except for the top brass) of buying British company cars :y  My Mk2 Cavalier Estate was made in Germany, according to the stickers under the bonnet..... ;D ;D ;D

I found the same as everyone else. I test drove an S3 a while back and it just was not any fun. Granted it did get a shift on, but when throwing it into corners it didn't give much feedback.

After that I never really considered them again.

Very unimpressed with A4's and lower (e.g. A3).

There very small inside with crap boot space and no head room.

The other thing I always find with them is the handling on the front wheel drive A4's is pretty rubbish.

There as reliable as any other car out there and are not as bulletproof as they used to be.

They also eat front suspension bushes (like the Omega lol) but, these cost a whole load more pennies!. And guess what, they use the same Bosch ABS ECU unit on the earlier ones and suffer the same failure as the Omega (and BBA and the like charge more to fix it!  ;D)
