Did a fair old blast of that in times gone. Sold all the demijohns, heating plates, bubblers, etc etc etc and now use only the 3 for a tenner types from Asda/Morrissons et al. Easier, more convenient, but arguably, less taste.
It was a fair old bit of work though, to get 6 bottles of elderflower or whatever after several months.
Given recent consumtion tests, would have had to have had demijohns planked almost everywhere that I could get light or heat!
Had a few blasts into beer production and enjoyed it. Was a tad clenching when I overprimed a batch of bottles though. Lost a few but managed to salvage most.
