Frickin' ebay....WHY???
« on: 10 October 2010, 00:27:36 »

On some pages the ask seller a question has disappeared several clicks away from the listing. Annoying enough when you know where it now is & a mega wind up the first time you have to look for it. It's been moved clicks & scrolls away, WHY? When looking at a new search it's usually "distance nearest first" & you can specify otherwise, so why am i suddenly getting a pop up across the screen telling me to enter my postcode? I can click it off but WHY is it there in the first place? Lastly, looking at car listings WHY on the reg date or mileage are there a few random letters/numbers? They mean nothing & have no relevence so WHY are they there???????
I wish ebay would stop p*ssballing about. All this silliness makes about as much sense as turning the telly upside down, leaving it in the bath then peeing in you shoes.

    WHY DO IT??????? >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Strange, my default search order is "Best Match", it doesn't ask for my postcode, the ask a seller section is right where it always was, and there are no extra letters or numbers anywhere in the vehicle details section if you're looking at a car listing..

In short.. nothing has changed for me..

Maybe it's an NTL/Virgin thing? My desktop & any lappy running from the re router are doing this, as is my lappy which i only use in the truck on nights out through an Orange dongle regardless of where i'm parked? ::)

Mine usually uses the "closest to me option" too and randomly asks me for my postcode...  Annoying as most of the time, I just want to see the ones ending soonest, The "Best Match" option is a misnomer, as you have told it to search what you want to look for...
