Bugger missed the race again going to have to keep an eye on Motors TV for the re-run, one day i will go and see this race.

I was reading an article in a motoring mag a few months ago and it mentioned that there had been a reduction on beer that you were permitted to bring in.

With the new rules you could only have 24 cans of beer each per day and the ozzys didn't like it so some went on the circut a couple of days before hand and buried a couple of case to be dug up during the weekend

JEEZ!!!!!

I'd be kalide(look it up) after 24 cans, and would miss the race completely!!

what is the point of going to see the race, and being so p*ssed you can't remember the race the next day, AND have a splitting headache??

That is an iconic motor race and one i always enjoy watching.

As for the ding-a-rooney that's the downside of gravel traps.  if you get sideways in them they can very quickly put you into a very nasty roll.  Good viewing for all but one person.

I'm glad he was OK.

It wasn't the gravel trap that did for him, it was that strip of raised grass!

Still, it peeled the skin off the car nicely so you could see the space frame  ;D
