OUCH!

Given the price of a decent seat, and a decent event, Plus travel and accomodation both surely inflated for the events too  :o

Looks like the 'common man' will be well and truely priced out of attendance  >:(

Not sure I agree with that Jim ....   ... prices are "per session" which generaly will mean at least half a day .. if not a whole day .. and many a "common man" seems willing to pay far more than £20-£50 to watch a bunch of poofters players stand around chase a round bladder full of air for just 90 minutes....  :)

I would rather have needles plunged into my optics than watch any of this.

Judging by the astoundingly excessive coverage by the 2 main news channels given to the Chilean miners rescue and the sale of some football club, we will be driven to distraction by the coverage of the Olympics.

What a pain in the arse this is going to be. [smiley=thumbdown.gif] [smiley=thumbdown.gif] [smiley=thumbdown.gif]

Here's a link between the two:

Chilean miners are to visit Liverpool to show Roy Hodgson how to dig his club out of a rather great hole before Christmas.

If it  wasn,t for lottery funding don,t want to know what the prices would have been! Better saving your money and coming up here for the
commonwealth games.
