Bring it on, let have a proper winter this year instead of the cold snap of last year ;)

Nothing like going Pike Fishing when there is a couple of feet of snow on the ground :D

friction coefficient that stops your car  is independant of mass unfortunately ;D :P

but you can increase it with playing with the surface area of tires .. :y

or the type of tires..

ideal, so i either get studded tyres or drop the air down to about 10 psi :P

(may be needing some steelies soon then (grrr and may need to put my old springs back on >_< )

if you are living on a hilly area and the surface turns to ice, even normal winter tires wont help..

some years ago when my car was fwd my solution was to keep two studded tires in the boot..  at least was easier then tensioning the chain in cold.. :-/

yeh i gotta go up 2 hills to get to my place, and one overly large hill to get to my girlfriends... studded it is then :D oh and alot of weight in the boot

I've got to laugh at these longish-range weather forecasts, they can only vaguely tell you what the weather's going to do in a few days!

If it does turn into snow, it'll be a coincidence, trust me  ;D ;D ;D
