Diesel Gala this weekend
« on: 20 October 2010, 22:11:30 »

So I tried to start the loco today and the f-ing aux volts (equivalent of a car alternator) didn;t come up!

So I have the joy of sorting that on Friday!

Yeh, a chuffing welder at the moment!

I suspect I know what it is, nothing a wooden cloths peg rammed in the right contactor wont sort.

Lol, I have been in the engine compartment having failed down the line with the control cubicle open with 1Kv on display whilst holding a broom, the head of which was holding 3 motor contactors in to keep it going so we could get back to base.   ;D ;D ;D
