Well if you want a 3.0 manual (and I can understand why! ;)) then get a proper MV6. :)

I would say it is worth £1,200 max.

An ex-plod came across me at the lights the other day, and up a steep hill over my right shoulder(could've been a 3.2). Oh, the noise, the acceleration..and it didn't look half bad in white. :'(

I KNOW I SHOULDN'T....but I cant help it. I've just waxed mine, it looks lovely...but the 16 year old is in my head again...AARRGGHHH!

Oh and you can have some fun in a shiny white Omega... ;)

You will find the outside lane of the motorway will clear very quickly for you!

In manual form they are fun...

Heck, if you can get it for under £1,200 go for it!

Conversation just went something like:

SWMBO "You paid £2750 for that car outside and you've spent about £1500 on it in 12 months. You wont get that back. You are always saying how much you love it"

Me "But.."

SWMBO " You know you've got a good one out there and that one might be crap. AND dont think you're having two! Grow up."

Me "OK love"

I know how you feel STMO m8...

Driving the Senny I am loving the power!!! Ok ok its no sports car but damn its fast!  :D

I get back in the 2.2 and i think... humm no power and its only slightly better on fuel.

The Omega is a far better car, and I have a good one its been reliable mechanics wise, and got 20k out of tyres with 7mm tred left, nothing major has gone wrong it it, just had the cambelt and condensor replaced recently.

But I too fancy 6 pot manual madness!  :D

Maybe a 2.6 manual when i earn money again, but this time it WILL be an Elite because I want the bose, and not to mess around with amps and subs anymore...

Or get an ex-plod and thrash the nakers off it.

I like the message you sent the seller :y

My wife is the same, she says she can always tell when I want to buy something as she says I do jobs around the house without her even asking ::)

Thanks for the comments about my car! It is a 3 litre and has a 3 litre engine, i put the 3.2 badges on because.....i felt like it, >:( no other reason. The engine was changed when in service at great expense, only to be sold off 12,000 miles later - their loss my gain!
Anyway it didn't hit the reserve so its staying! And yes it will be getting alloys!  ;)

Having spent 5 years as a transporter driver for the largest Police auction in the country, and picked up literally hundreds of ex polac cars from all police forces including Jersey :o
I can categorically state the best cars are from Thames valley!! just useless bit of info for ya!!! :y

I have to agree - i have owned nearly 20 Ex-Police cars, from forces including Essex, West Mercia, Lancashire and Met. The 5 Thames Valley cars have been the best, supplied with all documentaion/handbooks/history as well as being de-comisioned profesionally. ;D Care is taken when the livery is removed aswell as auxillary wiring looms etc. Most other forces, do as little as possible cutting stuff out where possible, and scraping off livery. :(
