my neice's friends who are very young were involved in a car crash yesterday 2 girls died, nicole and casey, the other 2 are as i am aware in intensive care, trying to find out more about it but nothing has been said yet. my neice is in a state of shock as they were best mates. so tragic to have your life taken away at such a young age.  :( :( :(

Terrible news Richie. Hope that the two in intensive care make it. As you say too young for anything like this to happen.

Really sorry to read of the accident.  When I was 17 I lost 3 friends in an accident. Horrible, horrible experience, not just in losing good friends but seeing their families try to cope and feeling so completely useless.

I posted my thoughts on youngsters overloading cars a month or two back. Tragically, this seems to support my view that there needs to be a major crackdown on overloading with drivers getting 3 points plus an extra point for each person carried over the car's designated capacity (shown by number of seatbelts).

Still very very sad, though, and death by fire is just too horrendous to contemplate. :'( :'(
