Took a trip down to Oxford yesterday to visit JoshWyatt, as he had some interior trim parts that I needed for my 2.2.
Ended up travelling the country route, rather than the Motorway route, took me longer, but was more enjoyable rather than feel as if on a race track each trying to outdo the other !.
Have to say, whilst I’ve briefly met Josh before, it was nice to meet up with a fellow OOF member again. He was very welcoming, and it was nice to have a longer chat, and what at pleasant young polite man he is.
Considering I’ve only met him once before, it was nice to meet a younger person who wasn’t mouthy, cocky, or a know-it-all. Though he certainly is very knowledgeable about Omega’s, especially on the Police spec side of things.
Even taking the time to show me some ex police equipment to a project that he is working on, and what it is and does, etc

His own personal Omega is a very nice example, and had an interesting story with the length he went to get the correct computer screen for it is another story, but I’ll leave him to explain that one

Even though it was only the second time we have met, we ended up having a long chat, put the world to rights on several point, and was even kind enough to offer food & drink as it was a long drive.
Bits packed away in the boot of the car, I started back me journey. And had bit of explaining to do once back home, not only about why I’ve got more car bits, but my other half thinking I was going down to Oxford, have quick chat about cars for half-an-hour, then back home straight away, Opps !!.

Think she may be getting suspicious, and wondering if I’m secretly trying to build another Omega without her knowing

Good to meet you again Josh, and let me know when you organise a meeting down the road in the park, think it’s a good idea
