Hi,

Im selling off some of my landrover bits as i've now got rid of my 2 discovery's. Sold a centre panel mount for a defender with 3 switches and 2 12v sockets, all marine grade. Whole item is brand new and cost me £30, sold it for £15.

On enquiring tonight on postage I said to him £5 would cover it, he e-mailed me back almost straight away saying I was trying to con him! So I checked the Royal Mail website, 1Kg item is going to be £3.23 or thereabouts so sent him a reply, he's just got back in touch saying he knew I was trying to con him out of more money!! FFS, its only £1.77. Some people are just sad ;D

How much will it cost for the packaging, and for you to take it to the post office, surely he'll be getting off light at £1.77.

Totally agree. Time, fuel, packing plus royal mail costs add up.

Maybe worth mentioning postage costs in advance though.

PS.  Sent it with out stamps if ot will fit in letter box, will cost him doule at that end.   ;D ;D

Post office is on my way to work and i've got loads of packets sitting it can go in, just beyond belief that some people think there due something for nothing, seems the norm nowadays. He's not got back in touch so probably on the phone to trading standards  :D

Same sort of thing happened to a lad I bought some stuff off. One of his previous  buyers was expecting his item  to be wrapped in gold paper and left neg feedback.... to be honest the chap couldnt do enough for ya but how many buyers where put off by this dickhead god only knows
