trouble is, they'd be open to hundreds of back claims from widows/widowers in similar circumstances....I don't know how many servicemen and women are within the 2 year "transition" period, but I'd imagine quite a high percentage - that said, give me a choice between finding taxpayers money for service pensions or bailing out bankers and I know what side I'm on :o

I would def agree on that one  :y :y

I am going to be contravercial and not sign it.

To me, the rules are clear and adhered to.

We as a country are broke........and thats not the bankers fault....thats the last set of incompitent fools who ran up the debt and are using the bankers as scape goats to try to cover up thier mess!

So how come we have offered Ireland a loan. How come we are still sending money abroad in overseas aid, and I am sure there are more.

Just a shameless push it back to the top really  :y

Becasue if we did not offer Ireland a loan it would cost us far more in lost revenue.

I for one would not be happy in my taxes going to this cause......sadly.  :-[

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Correct plus we dont use jobs in the Uk as a result to. Also, we issue bonds to get the money and as we are triple A rated we pay little interest on the loan, the Ireland loan will be at a higher rate and hence we can make a little cash on it.....if they pay it back  :y

hear everything that jim says re floodgates,  and, sorry to say if it offends, but you sign up and you know the risks, thats the job. That said, put the job in perspective-their pay v that of mr rooney or ,as has been mentioned, the bankers, for example, then the sheer unfairness is obvious. To me, if he was doing the job of sgt, his family should get those benefits. We hear enough stories of how are soldiers are poorly treated as it is . Which is all a very long winded way of saying I signed too :y
