Yeah, there was a dark thought I had in my head that she became leader of the labour party when they were in power. What planet is she on? What ever happened to 'charity starts at home'? She is the kind of person we don't need running the country.

She is anti men and anti family, and so arrogant it's unreal. I don't want to pay tax so that immigrants can send benefits home to family in different countries. Notice how i used the word home there? They move here but don't then see here as their home, and have no allegiances to Britain.

No doubt a socialist will pop up and call me sexist, racist, and xenophobic or something similar.

Well, I don't want to sound like I'm making broad sweeping statements. I'm all for immigrants coming here, if they're genuine and they're not here to scrounge and take ill gotten gains out of the country. I'm all for Poles for example, coming here and getting stuck in, they don't complain. I find that the loudest voice complaining about immigrants 'taking our jobs', are the very people who can't be bothered to go and get one of 'our jobs', and they are ususally native.

I've had a Russian and a Romanian girlfriend, and it's a bit upsetting when you see their lot compared to ours. What they don't have, compared to what we do. They are still good honest decent people with good morals (not that it's for me to judge). They have a good work ethic and are generally right thinking. They don't complain they just get on with it. When I told them about the state of Britain they were shocked, in the true sense of the word. (life chances included in all of this).

What makes it worse is we are a country of immigrants over centuries!!

That we are Lizzie! But isn't the entire world one big selection box of DNA? Yes there has been lots of travel to and from Britain over many years gone by, resulting in the mixing of the gene pool with 'non native people'. Having said this, because we are an island I'd dare say that the the mixing here is a lot less than that of land locked countries.

I think what you said there (even though I agree with it) is just an excuse that our so called political elite tell us to pacify us when we voice concerns about immigration and associated problems.

Oh yes, that is a great decription of the facts, and it has kept man evolving without becoming a society of inbreads

Going off topic and about Lizzie's last post about inbreds, the phrase 'village idiot' apparently comes from inbreeding in villages, resulting in people with genetic defects, some of which made them stupid, unfortunately.

I read about this earlier today, and inititially couldnt belive what I was reading. I had to read it again. "Immigrants who send money from their benefits to their relatives in their home countries are heroes."
FFS its not heroic, its theft - from my wages.
It is not however the rantings of a crazy woman who has become disconnetecte from her own electorate. Its the complete opposite actually, she didnt get to where she is in politics without saying and doing what she says and does for a reason. They have imported themselves a new electorate in the last decade or so, and are now starting the process of ensuring they cultivate a bumper harvest form that electorate in  time for the next election.
