YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHS. England retain the ASHES.    [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

About F'in' time! ;D ;D Although not a cricket fan they have played well in the 4th ;) :y
Not a cricket fan either tbh, but I love the big events in any sport, and the extra spice with the Aussies just adds to it all. Plus it makes a change to see a bit of sun  ::)   :y

Fantastic atmosphere, well played England, unlucky Australia. Snigger  :-X;D

I will add she is the sport fan and not me, Icould happily live without it! We (as in she and me on here listening) saw the 3rd test and we played like 10 year olds! So nice to see them playing properly for the 4th!

Proud to be English and to stuff the Aussies. A moment to savour. Well done England.

No idea about this cricket thing you speak of, but I'll take the port and cheese ;)

(Although last time I did that, three of us got through an entire bottle and woke up with very sore heads .. and then had to finish installing someones turbo conversion  ::) )

Cricket?  Is that like rounders, except you have to put the bat on the floor before you hit the ball??

Is it non contact(ish) like American Football?

How about this as an alternate.

Lumps and bruises optional....

Its the English equivalent of sport B. No actual physical contact, just a lot of staring at each other, with a lot of tea getting drunk between the "action". ::) ;D ;D

No wonder Millwall is breaking out 40 year old port!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

because I support the Sky Cricket Score Centre App, I've had to work earlier for the first couple of tests, I was never really into it, but I quite like it now. Even when not working I was checking the scores and videos each morning  :)

Ashes is ours now until the Aussies Tour England in 2013, so its a long wait for them to try and get it back.  ;D

My father in law once told me: Never pack a bottle of port and your hair clippers in the same box when you move.

You can picture the scene: "Ooh! a bottle of port".....<interlude>..  "Ah! My hair clippersh... how hard can it be?".

Needless to say he was off to the barbers for a no.1 all over the next day.
