Hypnosis is interesting, I can't understand it and don't believe in it, but would like experience it just to see.  :-?

There's a theory the individual needs to be susceptible or accepting of hypnosis  :-? Some just aren't built that way.

But who cares, what ever works.... :y
Not sure I'd want somebody screwing with my subconscience - I'm quite sure there is enough dangerous stuff in there already.

I was cynical, he was equally cynical, but when he described what he remembered (about drinking water when he felt like a fag), and actually see him drink gallons of it, and never touch a ciggy again (even though his wife still smokes), there must be something there. For some, anyway.

There's a very good book by Allen Carr, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Allen-Carrs-Easy-Stop-Smoking/dp/014103940X/ref=tmm_pap_title_0/279-7541990-2016736, I expect the local library will have a few copies :y

I should add that, although I have read most of it, I wasn't ready to stop so didn't finish the book ::) ;)

I was 'lucky' - I tried smoking too early (err, about 6 or 7yrs old), and was so violently sick within seconds, I never took it up - despite 2 of my brothers smoking, dad a part time smoker, and mum working for Rothmans, so cheap fags available.

Occasionally, on a night out, I may enjoy a cigar - but I've never smoked enough to ever start a habit.

My other half has tried those electronic cig's.  To be honest, don't even bother with them, as they don't last very long, even the better quality ones.  And you'll end up spending more money replacing them, than actually buying the real things.

You could always try this
