DVLA rip off !!
« on: 22 January 2011, 12:12:06 »

Just got a letter from the DVLA, it's time for me to update by driving licence. Every 10 years apparently  ::)

Only £20.00 to do plus extra cost if i go to the local post office for them to do photo  :o :o :o :o

I've not even changed !!!! (apart from a bit of grey hair  ;D)

Got to think of a way of getting out of paying, change address ???? :'(

CHEAP. Because I live abroad mine cost 175 euros to renew via the Brit Consulate in Madrid! About £145. Rip off Britain reaches out.

Compared with a Turkish mate its cheap too, £170 odd for him, but its still £77.50 I could spend on fuel for my bike  :(

nope, if you have an 'old style' you can keep it forever, unless you need to change any details.
