Kicked off my love of bent configuration motors which led me to have 4 other V8s, three v6s and 4 v-twin bikes.

A Sandglow yellow Mini 1000 with bucket seats, 4 spotlights, Cooper grille, Black Mamba wheels and very loud exhaust. Loved that car  :)

After six years of Japanese's finest (motorbikes that is) my first car was a Triumph 1500 fwd - Awful. The supension was sagging and it ate the rubber doughnuts on the drive shafts. It took me two days to change the first two but after that I could do both sides in about 3 hours. After six months the engine went West and after getting an exchange unit the gearbox then went East and fell apart. One year in the car had cost me £500 to buy + another £900 in repairs. I cut my losses at this point and went back to a pushbike until I could afford another two wheeler from the land of the rising sun. It was another two years before I went back to cars - when I could afford something half decent.

I got the pic up okay after some fiddling.  And that is noice!  :)

I'd love me another one, a VdP preferably as they are much rarer now than the Vitesse, but I wouldn't turn my nose up at a twin-plenum jobbie either.
