Well... Went into work for the 6 hour shift but wasn't really comfortable... managed to see it out though :y

Rang and got an appointment with the company Quack this morning (after only being in bed 4 hours ::)) to see what he suggested as I was supposed to return to full duties as of today (next shift is Friday) and he said that I'm obviously not fit for work yet then... Signed off for another 2 weeks minimum :(

I'll swap you... You have the pain, I'll go to work :y

TBH Chris, you'd have thought so wouldn't you! Just fed up with it all! I'm not very good at lying around resting and really getting frustrated with not being able to do the simplest of tasks! Hence the stupid job requirements at the meet... Thankfully I have had a few offers from people attending to do them for me while I'm the Tea Bitch boy! ::) ::)

pain aint no fun, i only have tennis elbow , and while i hear many people chuckle!!, it aint no joke it makes me do jobs in ways i've never thought of before! i feel very sorry for you and your condition and i hope it only gets better, personally i think if you try to work on the injuries before your bodies recovered enough i think you do more damage than good and i think with back injuries the only person who can judge that is you

I would suggest doing what you suggested in the opening post, unless you wake up in more serious pain

Take it slowly and talk to the quack about the pains you're getting is the best plan, Rome wasn't built in a day Paul.

Oh don't worry, I have the pain, seems to come on more when I'm tired. Had a mare at the weekend, washing machine had a slow leak, laminate floor was defo floating. And of course that's when the my back plays up, at the worst possible times.  >:(

I'd love two weeks off ATM, but like you I would get bored, probably after the first week....of sleeping! Which I don't have time for at all, so bedtime, night night.  :)
