Shouldn`t have to Steve. If "buyer" is happy with item/condition/price and agrees to purchase.....should be end of. Had a few "haggling" instances with one.......then discovered the "ignore" tab in my preferences

It happens all the time Rob, the amount of people that say i'll have it and you never hear off them again is beyond a joke. If someone wants me to keep something from now on i'll be asking for a deposit, that should sort out the man from the boys

I think sellers should list bad "buyers" in the warnings pages, just as bad sellers are listed. 'Tis only fair, and if too many "bad guys" get established the sellers will dry up to the detriment of the rest of us.

I have not had a single problem with anything purchased through OOF, and long may that continue IMHO.

I appreciate it would be more work for Admins .. but having a few names "in print" might just stop the others PDQ ...

That’s disappointing news indeed Rob but hardly surprising given the tendency for many people to attempt to sail through life by employing such tactics.

Decency, propriety and honour have all been kicked into the gutter in the name of expediency and doing the minimum whilst having the expectation of achieving the maximum benefit.

Moon on a stick types. Is this why, unless i am mistaken, there are less people selling/braking cars and generally supplying us with parts we need? Its alll wanted atm, last i looked. No suprise if this is how people behave.

Admin are sick of the agro from that section with disputes as it is...afaict anyway.

I have done a bit of buying and selling, only a small amount and without any trouble, but it has been with 'established' members, no 'fly by nights' it makes you wonder if the 250 post count is to low.... :-/ :-/ :-/
