Also ex forces & still employed by HM why are we allowing this to happen , because no one in authority can do or say what they would like to any mention of punishment that fits the crime & we hear "human rights nonsense" & believe me it will get a lot worse yet.

i believe you - this thread will get much worse.

The trouble is mate this is his country, but.....

depends when it suits. SWMBO used to work opposite a British born, British educated Asian girl who when asked where she was going on holiday replied 'home'  :-? :-? :-? :-? ....... ie Pakistan

Therein lies the problem - if this woman - and any other people inclined to express similar sentiments - cannot regard this country as being their home then there is something wrong - radically wrong.

It appears to clearly indicate (as far as I'm concerned) that the notion of multiculturalism is flawed if there is little requirement from the state for its citizens to identify with the basic tenets of allegiance to the nation feeding, employing and caring for them.

This issue needs to be addressed with determination sooner rather than later before there is a general degeneration into fiefdoms - with all that this implies.

£50 fine no doubt to be paid back at 50p a week from their benefits, I'm staggered, my old man fought in WWII, this country was meant to be a land fit for heroes afterwards, now it is the enemy withins paradise.

i'd rather live in a country that tolerated protest than one that banged you up or killed you for disagreeing - i'm pretty sure most who fought in WW2 would agree........that was kinda the point  :o

Yes, I certainly agree with that BJ but there is a limit.

In a 'free' society those who choose to protest their point are still required to remain within the law.

What we have seen of late is that some groups seem determined to express their dissatisfaction by using politically motivated violent means with a view to destabilising the very society they choose to reside in.

Just out of interest....what was the NAZI position on Islam...?

The Nazis had no problem with it.  Hitler actually welcomed Arab involvement in his attempt to dominate North Africa and the Middle East, with the Arabs supporting Hitler's stance on Jews!  The Nazis therefore worked alongside the Arabs and even had a SS Division made up totally of Muslims.

It would no doubt have suited Hitler and the Muslims for the Jews to have been fully "evacuated", or in our parlance, exterminated!! :o :o :o :o :'( :'( :'( :'(

Would the same apply if the BNP were burning copies of the koran at a Muslim event which was extremely sensitive in their culture ? :-/
Im certain it wouldnt with the authorities - they would be charged with hate crimes and Im sure the punishment would be a lot more than a £50 fine - to be paid from taxpayer funded benefits. ::)

A couple of you have have hinted regarding Andy B's "Home" post that others are'nt welcomed into our so called multi racial society. Granted some british ignorant folk are racist & don't help, but by the same count many ethnic groups don't want to integrate & have no interest in our culture. They're friendly enough when we're in thier shops but do we mix socially? I've spent years from Sussex, London, Leicester, Bradford, West Midlands visiting thier shops, restaurants, take aways & only once been invited for a meal, during Dhiwali (festival of light) & the food & welcome was amazing.

One of you left a comment to the effect of at last the voice of reason has crept into this topic. Did you read my posts beforehand? Shameful as it is we (collectively) are as bad as the poppy burner. I've sat with lucky girlfriend at the time in many restaurants after pubs & watched drunken idiots shouting comments like "Oi Gupta more poppadoms", & i've been embarrassed by thier behaviour.

Today Jeremy Vine had this little scrote on the phone. A few comments came in first regarding us being a free country with freedom of expression, he was only excersing his opinion & for a monent i thought well fair enough....until he spoke. He woud'nt let Vine speak & when a senior, elder Muslim who runs a mosque condemned him he spoke all over him as well. He said if we withdraw our troops from Afghanistan he'll go there.

Not sure if they'll give him £200 a week for doing sod all though.

   We do! >:(

I too heard the little scumbag on the Jeremy Vine show talking over everyone, nearly ruined my lunch and I had to turn the radio off to let my blood pressure settle back down.  Bell ends like him are doing no good for the tolerance of immigrants in this country!

He's an extremist Muslim. The type that get peaceful Muslims a bad name. He also asked what the point in being british was. Even Jeremy Drone got the hump with him.

Now i've heard him talk & his total inabilty to see another's opinion i think he's a narcissist who has no place anywhere on this planet. You had to hear him. There must be a listen again link on Radio 2, find it & listen for yourselves.

This miscreant should've been drowned at birth & is a wart on the arse of humanity. I've shat & flushed better than him.

I don't know but as said the elder Muslim who ran a mosque...like a vicar? & as an IMAM?..not sure but of  high peaceful Muslim order condemned him & quoted the Koran against his actions...peacefully...he shouted all over it so no respect for his elders & betters or anyone else.

That's ok though, we'll go to work tomorrow to pay him his £200 a week.

At least we speak the voice of reason....BOLLIX! >:(
