That's the way to deal with bullies, none of this "tell the teacher" rubbish. Never have I known a bully to stop unless someone has stopped him by hitting him/her back. Always did drum that into my kids, never start on anyone, which touch wood to my knowledge they haven't. They've both finished trouble on numerous occasions though.

Excellent. I despise bullies. At school i was intimidated & pushed about by a certain lad i was scared of. One day at home time we were trying to get up the steps of the school coach at the same time. He elbowed me & the pent up frustration rose & i gave him a body punch, got up the stairs before him & sat in a seat. He came up, gave me a fat lip & sat in another seat further back, anger got the better of fear...red mist & i ran back & leathered him. He was 16, i was 14. I remember the coach driver (Don) pulling me back bt my elbows & some mates who were still outside looking in shouting "Look at Guy". I did'nt break his nose but it was bleeding a good'un & he never picked on me again.

   This would've been 1977...getting a bit old for all this now!!!
