Well done Doog!! :y :y :y :y

In my book you did exactly the right thing, and I am sure the lad will not do it again as he will know how wrong it is :y :y :y

However, will his parents know enough to educate their young son?   That is my worry!! ::) ::) ::)

There is far too much ignorance about the Nazis, and that is one reason why, whenever I can, I bang on about that terrible period of history, not caring what people think of me!  The young must know! :y :y :y :y :y

Time to reclaim its original meaning.

Also the Native Americans used it a lot

Since so many are saying they would do the same I'll nail my colours to the mast.

Yes, I think you over-reacted.  Unless you personally suffered at the hands of the Nazis and he knew that, a "word of advice" would have been much more appropriate IMV.

Being totally honest, I don't agree with him having the Nazi symbol on him, but it wouldn't have bothered me that much, probably wouldn't have even mentioned it  :-/

Fair enough Doog - your house, your rules.

Probably not worth asking people if they thought you over reacted, though - as it sounds like you are convinced you did the right thing  :y

All the generations of today either have suffered, or are suffering from the actions of the Nazis.

Various familiy members have been missing due to them in many families; the country was brought to its knees and ruined by the Nazis, which still affects us today either financially, materially, or psychologly; a whole generation was "damaged" by war, and that has impacted on us all today, including our children, with the family, social, problems of now originating to WW2!

So, yes we have all been affected by the Nazis, and we are still suffering from their activities! :'( :'( :'(

at the time of the post i thought " shit should i have done that "  but having had time to think about it i am convinced i was right  so hence to first post made by me

to be honest id rather it had not happend but i wasnt prepaired to ignore it
it is perhaps one of only a few things i would object to and to be fair to the lad ive probably done him  a favour cos he wont do it again.
