Tax and NI deductions from today
« on: 05 April 2011, 13:57:41 »

If anyone is wondering what difference the new tax/NI rates will do to your take-home pay, have alook here:

http://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/

It's really simple to use and I found it very useful........

......eventhough we will be worse off..... :(

....by £113 a month.... :( :(

For all you who are worse off, you must be earning a fair bit.

I thought my salary was rather good, but I end up better off, and so does the wife.

I'm not convinced its 100% correct in all cases......as i know what my accountant declared as my income last year and i know how much tax i paid.

I put in last year's income......and the figures it produced doesnt add up.....its over £200 for the year out... :-/

It deffo works for PAYE. Self employed is more complicated, I reckon.

Erm....there might be a slight cock-up on the tax code front here. I thought our losses were a bit harsh but I entered the tax code for 2010/11 and, of course, it will change for this year. So, it's wait and see.
