Got a new telly. 32" LG LED with built in Freeview HD. Bloomin fantasic.  Has got an Ethernet connection so access the iPlayer etc without having to use a PC. 

Had to twist the managers arm @ my local Richers to get the price as advertised. They change their prices  - but I'd printed it off and they honoured the old price on that basis.

It seems that some prices are starting to head up due to supply issues with Japanese sourced parts ..........

So, if you are thinking about a new telly now might well be a good time to invest ....................

I went to tesco's today.....and noticed they are selling the exact same tv as i have....which i bought in January....at the same price they are trying to sell it at....ummm that model was discontinued when i bought mine back in Jan.....hence the good price i got at the time.....

So just backs my theory that Tesco's (and probably the other supermarkets) sell cheap electricals because they have been discontinued and the manu's are just off loading their stock

Good point. Got the Dragon in law a 32" LCD with built in Freeview HD for £199 in Tesco. They are giving a £50 trace in old an old tv. It's their own brand, but @ that price who cares ............
