my lad has aspergers and we are thinking of buying him an audio pillow to help with his bedtime routine. The pillow connects to an mp3. His sister got him one for xmas but havent really looked at it yet. we dont just want to download music to his mp3 but would like to download a recording of me reading his favourite stories (as -if im not on late shift-this forms an integral part of his routine), but does anyone know how I would do this and what other equipment/ programmes I might need? (preferably an "idiots guide" please ) thanks guys/girls

BTW, I can only assume that I have to be able to record onto the laptop first and then transfer it via media player onto the mp3. Do I have to download a programme (such as those advertised by NCH )first and what about a mike? This laptop has skype but to my knowledge no integral microphone so any recommendations welcome.
