Following a van from a road resurfacing company on the way to work this morning, I noticed the reg. No. was YE5 1 TAR. Very enterprising. :y

Very Good, years ago I saw a Porsche 911, in a lay by with the driver on his Portable Phone ( the size of a brick) the reg was 1 5ELL. :y

I had NIL5 on an old v70 t5 (Nilsson is a Volvo tuner, not that well known) - quite obscure that one.
1 GTR on a Senator, that got bought by someone and put on a Porsche
1 GOW on the same Senator, pity it wasn't a C!

I'm not rich, my dads mate sell them and it used to be cheaper to put them on cars instead of on retention!

There's someone driving round with GE 07 REY, that is cool!

Friend of mine had JED 1 on a XR4I many years ago alas the plate belonged to his brother in law and not him.

Also seen T4 WTU on a car round my way spaced slightly differently and means nowt til read through a rear view mirror ;)

I have a rather off-topic, but I hope amusing story prompted by this...

Years ago I worked for a small electronics company that had a contract to supply control electronics to a very large (US) company that made road resurfacing machines.  Our device helped them get the thickness of the asphalt just right, to within a very small tolerance. 

The father of the boss of our company one day - out of the blue - said "Them Yanks should have a slogan for their machines...Have your asphalt the way you like your asphalt"

Say it out loud. :)

i think the plate  S7OLEN is now around the leeds bradford area on a audi q7 or vw tourag something along those lines i saw it a few weeks back or something very very close to that reg anyway :y

at one time a crappy All Agro round here used to have TEN 66 as its registration.
