A doozy of a thunderstorm....
« on: 09 May 2011, 14:25:01 »

....just passing through here now; several inches of rain and proper, forked-bolts of lightning. :y

:oI hope Elite Pete managed to escape the downpour; he`s working outside doing a cambelt change not too far from here. :'(

You need to move to a Mediteranean country then.  ;D ;D  You get the lot:

Thunder and lightning no rain, with rain. A few years back we had four inches of rain in under 3 hours with lightning and thunder. All quite frightening at the time (for home owners!)

I work in a room in the centre of the building, no windows, screened, I don't see daylight for 8hrs :'(

First I knew about it was at 5:30 pm when the car park was a bit wet.

Hope we get one! We've not seen more than the lightest misting of rain (not even enough to wet the ground properly!) for about 8/9 weeks! Getting boring having to water the garden every night ::)

We've had a couple of good thunder storms here the last couple of weeks.

The rain soaked me in a roundabout way Debs. Johns downspout was bloked which backed up along the guttering which then overflowed. I decided to unblock the downspout which emptied gallons of water over me :-[ ;D

Omegod and Red Barron should have a field day with this one ;D
