Not only doesn't he understand twitter, his lawyers should be advising him of the "Streisand Effect" whereby any attempt to hide or remove information online has the opposite effect, encouraging people who normally couldnt give two hoots (like me) to find out

Same here, haven't bought a paper or looked at the news since before last December, and you know what??

It's quite refreshing to walk around in blind ignorance of what is happening in the world, and ignorance of whatever it is that is going on hasn't affected my lifestyle in the slightest (except to make me less moody).

To give you an idea of how "ignorant" I am to the world's news, I didn't even know that Wills & Kate were getting married until I read about it on the chalkboard in our local, and that was only 5 days before the event.
