If you break down outside a military base....
« on: 16 June 2011, 21:46:57 »

Make sure you explain to the gate guard or this could happen:

Anyone at the Cambelt meet will recognise the photo  ::)

A mate told me that the asian looking guy just left the car there across the junction and high-tailed it.  No wonder the guard reacted like he did  ;D ;D ;D

I got nervous driving anywhere in Colchester in the 90's, without an accent. ;D

Mind you, I was in strange company. I once say some guys posing in an All-aggro. :o I guess they thought they were sophisticated (= not driving a Ford). ;D

They thought my car was a spaceship when I arrived in Essex in 79. Not a blue oval visible anywhere on it. Caused much confusion. :D ;D

thinking about it, the more problems are when you take military vehicles off a base.

I once turned up to a "normal" filling station in a Challenger 2. Amex were delighted
