 :o :-? :-?

INFORMATION:

Would you like to know what is wrong with your car before going to the garage?

Want to save £££/$$$'s on garage prices? Then this is the tool for you.

This Code reader is the best solution at the most affordable price for Do-it-yourself people and even professional mechanics to quickly and easily diagnose vehicle problems via reading the trouble code (DTC) shown on the 585 to identify, locate and check problems with the 581 user manual.

This tool has been developed to the highest spec, not like many cheap tools that you can get which may or may not work.

Unlike other code reader tools, that can only communicate with the engine, the 585 is a powerful smart device that can talk to numerous other intelligent systems, like the ABS, Airbags, fuel, MAF, and Automatic Transmission in addition to the engine.

Will not reset the Airbag light or ABS light, need special tool

Compatible Vehicles:

Works on:

GM 1996 - onwards that is OBD II compliant

(i.e. Vauxhall, Opel, Saab, GMC, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Holden, Saturn, Buick)

Ford 1996 - onwards that is OBD II compliant

Chrysler 1996 - onwards that is OBD II compliant

Toyota 1996 - onwards that is OBD II compliant

Honda 1996 - onwards that is OBD II compliant

Nissan 1996 - onwards that is OBD II compliant

BMW 1996 – onwards that is OBD II compliant

&

All other European and Asian car/vans 1996 - onwards that are OBD II compliant

(i.e. Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Volvo, Daewoo, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes, Suzuki and many, many more…..)

Vamps - the marketing blurb is BS for European cars. EOBD (OBDII) only came in in Europe in 2001 for Petrol and 2003 for Diesel.

So it would work on my 03 car but not with the older 98 estate, sadly?

I use a cheap wireless bluetooth code reader for mine, works well.  Allows me to use my phone to talk to the car.

Got an autel maxiscan summat or other that gives the description rather than just the code, was about £40 but has paid for itself many times over!
