Thats not a fun condition to have, finger crossed that you get it under control soon.

How did they diagnose appendicitis?  Please tell me they did a scan of some sorts first at the very least.....

No scans all done by blood work and feel

Appendix they say was dodgy simply because as soon as it was gone I cleared up.

Last pains were removed with emema and laxative as my bowels had siezed up

Still sore (big wound), communications were very poor as far as I was concerned

Welcome to the club!

I had mine removed when I was 16, in my case it was also not the appendix at fault as it was a Meckels Diverticulum which resulted in a section of bowel being removed as well!

Firstly they thought divertic whatever, then the appendix came online, sore but they reckon I might have nearly fixed it with the IV anti biotics

They still seem unsure to me now.

Will run the tablets for a while and wil not use codine unless really bad
