Yet another Omega for me...
« on: 04 June 2007, 21:24:19 »

Yep, bought another project/means of transport!

This was on ebay.....http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170118571589&rd=1&rd=1
... until I had it off him for a very decent price  ;)

I can conclusively say the oil cooler is well and truly  :-Xed

Alas this means I cannot make it to the Lakes this weekend.  :(
I have to get this sorted and running this weekend as I am need of transport for now, then I will move this on (bank really needs the money!).

Lovely car, beautiful condition with a fully stamped service book right up to last April! :)

Pity you won't make the Lakes, but it looks like you got a bit of a deal there....

Hope it works out and we will catch up with you some other time.   :y

Nice car Dave - same as mine but with a bit of extra engine  :-/

Rear arm rest needs part no 90249669 £1.36 to fix it and great that it's never been used for towing - V6 auto as a tow car - what a thought  :-X

I know exactly what he means about the oil cooler. I went with Dave to collect this. As the bonnet was opened we both looked at each other and said 'oil cooler'. There is no mistake here.

I also know what this swine paid and I am very upset indeed. :(

I can describe Daves new toy as damned nice all round. Really, rally nice condition.  TELL THEM ABOUT NUMBER 1 PLUG WELL DAVE! ;D

I also have been shopping. I bought a brand new engine crane for £89 and am considering a 55k, 2000 W-reg 2.0 CD facelift for £450.

Trouble is I am also about to spash out  on a 2006 fiesta Ghia TDCi. Oh dear, decisions........
