Recipe for the Blackberry sauce as seen at Newent

Several peeps have asked for the recipe....so i thought i'd post it here....

Take a sturdy glass jar (as a bit of fermentation takes place)
Add blackberries..
Add sugar....as much as you like (about 4 or 5 desert spoonfuls probably went in mine....the more you add the sweeter it is)
Next cover the blackberries with whisky....cheap stuff....its a waste to use the good stuff.

Lid on and squirrel away in a cupboard for 2 months.....try to remember to gently shake the jar every week or so

After 2 months remove the blackberries and dispose of them.....I find disposing of them with ice cream is a good way  :y

The sauce is ready to drink.....but i'm led to believe the flavour gets better if left for up to another 10 months.....however the sauce at Newent was 2 months old  :y

Only one person guessed it had whisky in it Broocie.....
It tastes nothing like whisky.......even Mrs AA, who said she didnt like whisky had a couple of good swigs of it  ;D :)
