Buy her a BIG box of tissues.  And a pair of scissors to cut the umbilical with.   ;)

And a bigger box of washing powder for when her cherub rocks home with a few months of washing.

Ask us how we know......   ;D

I've had both experiences.

Dropped one off at Uni and then had one in Afghan. He subequently got blown up by and IED at the very end of his 2nd tour. Is well on the mend.

So, I can assure you that dropping them off at Uni is a walk in the park compared to having people trying to kill them  :y

He'll have a ball  :y :y. Dropped my 'little girl' off at uni for the first time 4 years ago, she had a great time. She was far enough away at Lancaster that she was away from Mum & Dad, but close enough that we could go to rescue her if anything happened ie when she was really unwell, we brought her home for her Mum to look after her.  :y :y
Don't worry.  ;) ;)
