No mechanical experience, but have a set of tools and am willing to do what I can to help, e.g., take bits off etc., bring meat for the BBQ, know a good cheap butcher

I'm not a complete mechanical novice , but could do with a bit of guidance . and the cam-locking tools [smiley=dankk2.gif] .

What do we need to bring , I'm thinking tool kit , cambelt kit , beers , butties . If we could get a BBQ going that would be great!!!

I agree with Mark's comments, cambelts first, then we look at other jobs depending on time.

I'm happy to be considered an "expert" in most jobs that need doing on petrol models (2.0/2.2 and V6), but I'm not so condfident with diesels.

I have locking and setting tools for the V6, and 2.0/2.2. I have low range torquewrench and all the usual tools.

I WILL be coming, whether it means booking holiday, throwing a sicky.. etc..

And yes, going by how flat out I was all day in Brackley at the last event, the cambelt changers ARE knackered at the end of the day, which has interesting effects when alcohol is added...

Nope, its one of the older ones, as you come onto the estate you stay right and go up the side of the train track as far as you can go, think it was a scrap yard once upon a time
